The position of

This position will be based on our Nairobi office but will entail some regional travel to our EA offices.

As an Administration Assistant, you will be a valuable resource, charged with the following:
  • Front office desk management;
  • Plan and organise office and work flow activities and continually evaluate work procedures and methods to ensure quality, efficiency and timely attainment of the department’s objectives;
  • Develop and maintain the Firm’s library and ensure knowledge management including safe storage, retrieval and sharing of information within the Firm;
  • Update departmental procedure manuals and practice guidelines, while maintaining the necessary levels of confidentiality;
  • Assist in procurement of goods and services by soliciting quotations from suppliers;
  • Ensure that the whole office and especially the reception area is kept clean and tidy at all times;
  • Supervise, train, motivate and conduct performance appraisals for the outsourced services; and
  • Any other tasks as may be assigned to you from time to time.
Qualifications:

As the ideal team player, you should posses the following attributes:
  • University degree or equivalent;
  • Records Management, Accounting/Finance qualification would be an added advantage;
  • Basic Secretarial training;
  • 3 years experience in a similar position;
  • People management skills;
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure;
  • Good organisation and time management skills; and
  • Good Communication skills (oral and written).
