Human Resource Assistant Jobs in Kenya.

Our client in Kenya, a medium sized organisation with interests in hospitality, real estate, agriculture in Kenya amongst others is looking to recruit a Human Resource Assistant reporting to the Group Company Secretary/Human Resource Manager. The main responsibility for this role is to assist with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties.
The Key Responsibilities of this role will include:
* Maintaining employee files and the Human Resource filing system
* Arranging for in-house and external training activities
* Assisting in recruiting and staffing logistics
* Carrying out employee orientation, development, and training logistics and recordkeeping
* Managing employee communication process

* Assisting in compensation and benefits administration and recordkeeping
* Assisting with employee relations, employee safety, welfare, wellness and employee services
* Assisting with the day-to-day efficient operation of the Human Resource Office
Required Qualities For HR Job – The ideal Kenya candidate will:
* Demonstrate the ability to work independently, under pressure, and ensure timely coordination and delivery of demanding priorities.
* Demonstrate the ability to deal sensitively with people at all levels
* Have a proven ability in planning and organizing to deliver outcomes within stipulated time frames.
* Be innovative, enthusiastic and energetic
Required Skills For HR Assistant  – The ideal candidate will:
* Have good communication and interpersonal skills
* Have proven ability to interpret and apply the Employment and Labour Laws
* Be highly organised, paying close attention to detail and have effective time management skills
* Have well-developed communication (written/verbal), interpersonal and facilitation skills including the ability to liaise with individuals at all levels in a variety of contexts.
* Have excellent report writing and presentation skills.
HR JOB Qualifications – The successful Kenyan candidates will have
* A Degree in Human Resource or a Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management.
* At least 2 years working in a busy HR department.
* Computer skills especially in analysis tools including use of a human resource information system (HRIS), MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
