Procurement Manager and Head of Sales & Marketing Jobs – New KCC

We wish to recruit dynamic and result driven professionals to fill the following positions.
1. Head of Sales and Marketing
Job Profile
Reporting to the Managing Director, The Head of Sales & Marketing will be responsible for
·         Providing leadership and oversight for the sales and marketing function.
·         Leading regular review of sales and marketing strategies to guarantee the business a competitive advantage at all times.
·         Developing and leading robust and motivated sales and marketing team.
·         Drive the implementation of policies, strategies and controls to enhance business and revenue growth, profitability and market share.
·         Identifying, overseeing and assessing the activities of external advertising, promotions, and marketing research agencies engaged to implement strategies.
·         Preparing, monitoring and controlling the departmental budget as well as the departmental procurement plan.
·         Ensuring brand profitability through correct pricing policies as well as developing an effective price strategy.
·         Monitoring competitor activities as well as the performance of the company’s products in the market and advising management accordingly.
·         Managing relationships and ensuring customers satisfaction through regular contacts and prompt resolution of issues.
·         Any other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Person Profile
·         Bachelors degree in Marketing or related field.
·         Masters degree in relevant field is desirable
·         Membership to a professional body such as marketing society of Kenya (MSK)
·         7-8 years relevant experience with at least 3 years in a senior management level in a FMCG company
·         Demonstrated leadership and managerial capabilities
·         Organization and co-ordination skills.
·         Excellent interaction and presentation skills.
·         Demonstrated knowledge in management information systems.
2. Procurement Manager
Job Profile
Reporting to the Managing Director the successful candidate will be responsible for
·         Sourcing, negotiating and entering contracts with suppliers.
·         Formulation and evaluating of procurement strategies.
·         Provide effective leadership, guidance and expertise in all aspects of procurement.
·         Co-ordinates the procurement process for the identified goods/services.
·         Ensures that Procurement regulations are observed throughout the organization.
Person Profile
·         Bachelor’s degree in Procurement or a degree in business related field.
·         Must have a Diploma in CIPS.
·         Excellent computer skills.
·         Experience in preparation of Tender documents.
·         Must have at least 9 Years experience in busy procurement environment of which at least (3) must be at senior management level.
·         Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
·         Must be a member of a relevant professional body.
·         Experience in E-Procurement is an added advantage.
