KEMSA Regional Customer Service Officer Job in Kenya

The 
Regional Customer Service Officer will report to the Customer Services Manager and be responsible for ensuring continuous, timely and efficient supply of essential medical commodities to public health facilities in the region.

Principal Accountabilities:

The job holder will have the following key responsibilities:
  • Liaise with the District Health and District Medical Services Management Teams to determine quantities needed for each of the products and at each of the public health facilities in the region

  • Manage the ordering, delivery and receipt processes for the supply of medical commodities to the health facilities in the region
  • Monitor the ordering processes at the facilities and identify supplies-related problems and solutions
  • Maintain records of activities and submit monthly reports for management use
Qualifications, Knowledge Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate should possess:
  • A Bachelor of Pharmacy degree or its equivalent from a recognized university
  • Qualification in Business or Supply-Chain Management will be an added advantage
  • At least three (3) years relevant work experience in a similar capacity
  • Knowledge and understanding of Kenya's public healthcare system
  • Demonstrable experience in medical commodity management and capacity-building activities
  • Possession of a valid driver's license
