SDV-Transami is the leading logistics company in the region providing an array of products such as sea freight, air freight, road transport, warehousing, international packaging among others. We are seeking to recruit a dynamic individual to fill the above mentioned post. The candidate will report to the Commercial Manager.
Job Title: Pricing Executive
Specific duties and Requirements
1. Qualification of customer /prospect requests and develop individual plans for the quotations.
2. Submit quotations in a timely manner.
3. Maintain a routine follow-up of all issued quotations with specific targets.
4. Review quotations to ensure alignment with the client confirmations as well as internal process requirements.
5. Source and maintain an up-to-date database of contacts relevant to the sourcing of information necessary to the compilation of quotations.
6. Provision of regular reports to the relevant stakeholders.
Job Specification
1. Diploma or University degree and training in Business Studies/Management
2. Good working knowledge of the freight industry-at least 2 years relevant working experience
3. Strong numeracy /accounting skills
4. Business administration skills
5. Computer skills (MS Word,/excel, Internet/e-mail)
6. Customer service skills
Salary- KSh 100,000+
