Asset Care Best Practice Implementation Manager — East / South Africa

The role is responsible for accelerating the asset care implementation agenda for targeted areas in the manufacturing hub of East and Southern Africa. This role will work with local engineering! asset care managers delivering hands on interventions to implement best practice in asset management.

Their primary purpose is to ensure that prioritised interventions to improve asset management performance are realised, site-specific business plans are achieved, the leadership development of departmental engineering managers and local asset care engineers takes place and asset care implementation plans are accelerated and focused on best practice principles to minimise costs, maximise engineering effectiveness and increase asset reliability.

The successful candidate will need to have a degree ¡n Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree

5+ years in a Engineering/Maintenance Environment within the FMCG industry.

The candidate will need to have experienced mastery in Asset care standards implementation as well as experience in developing world class manufacturing techniques and standards including structured problem evaluation and solving skills.

Engineering Standards Manager - East / South Africa

The Engineering Standards Manager is responsible for leading the development and delivery of the engineering standards agenda for the East and Southern manufacturing hub through the use of risk management processes & tools.

The role is also responsible for the provision and management of expert resources to ensure uplift in standards across all East and Southern African sites by identifying gaps in performance vs. agreed standards and best practice.

The successful candidate will need to have been university educated in Environmental, Science or Engineering degree, have 5+ years experience in engineering, process or maintenance management.

The candidate will need to be a self-motivated and achievement oriented leader with good cultural awareness, have excellent coaching skills, communication and presentation skills as well as be abreast of leading process and plant technology.
