Job Profile

  • Identify and prioritize the needs of livestock farmers in the assigned region.
  • Develop, evaluation and implementation of business plans for franchises
  • Maintain good relationships with stakeholders in assigned region.
  • Issue frequent updates on franchisee performance and ensure compliance to set guidelines.
  • Training of farmers and franchisees.
Person Profile
  • Qualified Veterinary Surgeon registered with the Kenya Veterinary Board.
  • 3 - 5 years relevant experience in either Daily, Poultry or Pastoral management.
  • Willing to travel extensively including being based in a station out of Nairobi.
  • Experience in marketing and distribution in rural Kenya desired.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • A business degree will be desirable.
  • Proficiency in Ms Office.
Accountant

Reporting to Director - Finance & IT

Job Profile
  • Assist in timely preparation of financial and management accounts.
  • Assist in overseeing and managing effective implementation of set key result areas in finance.
  • Liaise with franchisees in data collection, stocks and treasury management.
  • Monitor and generate management reports on treasury performance and advise management on adequacy of existing banking facility.
  • Facilitate risk control assessments in prevention of frauds through implementation of appropriate internal controls.
Person Profile
  • Business related degree specializing in Accounting or Finance. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
  • Holder of CPA (K) or ACCA with at least 5 years post qualification experience.
  • Computer literate with hands on experience in use of an ERP tool and Ms office products.
  • Good planner, organizer, and an analytical & effective decision maker.
IT Officer

Job Profile
  • Build & ensure the efficient functioning of the IT infrastructure & systems of the company including the franchises.
  • Overall management and support of the company’s IT infrastructure.
  • Assisting in the implementation and testing of the computer systems.
  • Providing user support including training users.
  • Performing technical, systems & user documentation tasks.
  • Experience integrating PC based & mobile phone based systems.
Person Profile
  • A degree in computer science from a recognized institution and at least 4 years relevant experience in a busy IT environment.
  • Possess qualifications and practical skills in:
  1. Networking (N+, Linux, Windows, Cisco and HP networking certifications)
  2. Mail Servers (Linux Mail Server, Windows 2003 & 2008 Mail Severs and Mdaemon)
  3. Applications Servers (Net Framework, LAMP, Java Platform)
  4. User Support on Windows and Office Suite

  • Oversee quality assurance systems.
Person Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field, economics or equivalent.
  • Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies preferably CIPS.
  • Over 5 years work experience in the procurement related field of a commercial organization.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal & analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Ms Office.
