SOTENI Kenya is currently recruiting for the above position.
Tigania West Women Empowerment Project (TWWEP): SOTENI Kenya is currently implementing phase II of TWWEP, an initiative targeted at socio-economic empowerment of women in Tigania West.
The objectives of the project are to develop personal and organizational capacity of women to enable them engage in more competitive income generating activities, engage in businesses; and raise awareness on HIV/AIDS and equal rights.
Reports to the CC
Duties and responsibilities include:
· Work with the CC, Administrator, CRC and project personnel
· Secure collection and assessment of reports of group training and group progress reports from follow-up visits
· Participate in monitoring and evaluation activities
· Participate in capacity building of the groups
· Participate in assessing the group business plans
· Support WC in follow ups
Minimum Qualifications
· Diploma in community development, social studies or other relevant course.
· One year experience in community project implementation.
· Experiences with capacity building and training
· Experiences with monitoring and evaluation
· Fluency in English, Kiswahili and Meru language.
· Must have basic computer skills.
· Able to carry out internet communication.
