Sacco General Manager Job in Kenya

Our client, a leading Savings and Credit Co-operative Society is seeking to engage a dynamic and result oriented 
General Manager to spearhead the implementation of the Saccos Strategic Plan, leading to the attainment of set objectives.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties;
  • Full implementation of the corporate Strategy Plan
  • Grow the performance of the Sacco
  • Enhance customer satisfaction

  • Spearhead the marketing function
  • Ensure the Society’s compliance to laid down internal controls and procedures, statutory requirements and other regulations
  • Enhance staff productivity and motivation
Qualifications Required:

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Commerce degree or a Business related degree from a recognized university.
  • CPA(K) or ACCA
  • Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in a similar position busy computerized deposit taking business
  • Proficiency in Sacco management software and computer applications especially in accounting packages and systems.
  • Superior Knowledge of the regulatory framework of the Co-operative Sector
  • Conversant with emerging trends in the co-operative and banking industry
  • Age 30-50 years of age.
