Kenya Power & Lighting Company aims to put in place measures, controls, plans, procedures, systems and any other supportive infrastructure within the realms of its mandate to realise the highest levels of compliance, integrity and zero tolerance to corruption in all its forms.
Purpose:
KPLC is requesting for Expression of Interest from professional firms for comprehensive annual ethics & integrity surveys on a two year contract basis, whose recommendations will be aimed at inculcating an ethical culture and strengthening transparency and accountability within the organisation thereby ensuring continued efficient and transparent service delivery.
The Scope of Assignment:
·         Conduct Annual Professional Ethics & Integrity Surveys for Financial Year 2010/2011 and 2011/2012.
·         Rate KPLC’s Ethical Culture, based on internationally accepted principles and standards.
·         Prepare recommendations and detailed action plans based on the results of the surveys.
·         Provide ongoing advice to KPLC on best practices in Institutional Integrity & Ethics Management.
Pre-qualification Criteria:
·         A track record of experience of the firm in conducting Ethics & Integrity Surveys for large organizations, with a minimum sample size of 1,500 respondents.
·         The key staff of the firm should have at least a post graduate degree and a minimum of 5 years post university experience in the relevant field.
This request for expression of interest will lead to a short-listing of eligible consulting firms who will be invited to submit proposals/bids to carry out the above assignment. The Kenya Power & Lighting Company Limited now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services.
Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services.
Expression of Interest must be delivered to the address below by 10.00 a.m. on Friday 18th February, 2011
