The Kenya Wildlife Service is a State Corporation, whose responsibility is to manage and conserve wildlife in Kenya.

The Service seeks to recruit dynamic, innovative and experienced individuals to fill the following positions at its Field Training School in Manyani:-

Clinical Officer 
JG “6”

Reporting to the Commandant FTS Manyani, the overall responsibility for the successful candidate will be to ensure provision of effective clinical services in the School.

Key functions will include:
  • Ensure effective operation of the medical clinic.
  • Create effective awareness on hygiene and health services.
  • Offer treatment services to students, staff and their families.
  • Follow up referral cases.
  • Ensure maintenance of adequate stocks of drugs.
  • Ensuring safe custody of drugs and equipment in the clinic.
Job Requirements:
  • Diploma in Clinical Medicine obtained from a recognized institution.
  • Must be a registered Clinical Officer.
  • ICT skills.
  • At least three (3) years working experience in a reputable institution/hospital.
Staff Nurse

Reporting to the Clinical Officer, the overall responsibility for the successful candidate will be to ensure provision of effective nursing services in the School.

Key functions will include:
  • Carry out treatment to students, staff and their families in the school.
  • Create effective awareness among officers and employees on hygiene and health services.
  • Maintain medical and timely accurate records.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene in the clinic.
  • Maintain adequate stocks of drugs
Job Requirements:
  • Diploma in Nursing obtained from a recognized institution.
  • Must be a registered nurse.
  • ICT skills an added advantage.
  • At least three (3) years working experience in a reputable institution/hospital.
