KENFAP Services Ltd (KSL) is an agro-based company specializing in offering agro-based solutions to agricultural producers through consultancy, research and advisory services, training, market linkages and supply of quality farm inputs.
KSL now wishes to recruit a qualified Kenya citizen with at least 3 years experience to fill the position of Product Development Manager- High Value Vegetable Seeds to be based in Nairobi but with intensive field visits.
The incumbent will be in charge of the introduction, development and marketing of specific high value vegetable seeds in Kenya.

The incumbent will be in charge of the introduction, development and marketing of specific high value vegetable seeds in Kenya.
- Organize pre-commercial variety trials, screening, data collection and analysis indicating opportunities
- Offer detailed technical growing advice to growers and stockists
- Visit farmers and distributors in order to support sales activities
- Carry out market research for existing and new product/market combinations
- Design and carry out sales and marketing activities
- Preparation of regular sales reports
Key qualifications
- Degree in horticulture, agriculture, agri-business or related fields
- Qualification in sales, marketing and/or business administration a distinct advantage
- Experience in agro-based product development
- Proven skills in service delivery and customer care
- Proficiency in ICT
- Valid and clean driving license
