The Alliance for a Green Revolution In Africa (AGRA) is a partnership of The Rockefeller Foundation, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), the UK Department for International Development (DFID), the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA), the Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA) and other donors, working with African governments, NGOs, the private sector and African farmers to significantly and sustainably improve the productivity and incomes of resource poor farmers in Africa.
AGRA is registered as a charitable organization in the US to provide policy advocacy, resource mobilization functions and programmatic operations.
AGRA is headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya and has an office in Accra, Ghana.
AGRA seeks Expressions of Interest (Eol) from suitably qualified firms to undertake a project to develop a Management Information System (MIS) to cover all of the organization's programs, monitoring & evaluation and management, for purposes of data storage, manipulation and reporting needs.AGRA is registered as a charitable organization in the US to provide policy advocacy, resource mobilization functions and programmatic operations.
AGRA is headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya and has an office in Accra, Ghana.
The required system must be user-friendly, easily accessible from any AGRA location and integrate easily with all other existing applications and would easily link with new applications that we may acquire in the future.
The system should enable easy & convenient capture and storage of all AGRA's data types and allow information exchange between AGRA and her stakeholders.
Interested Firms must have a demonstrable track record in the development of world-class secure and reliable information systems and must have been in the software development business for a minimum of four (4) years.
Interested Firms should submit: -
- Their company profile, registration and other statutory documents
- Detailed past experience in projects of similar magnitude, technical competence and testimonials
- Comprehensive resumes of full-time developers
- A listing and description of developed software, if possible
- Details of operating environments and database management systems supported
- Sample of their service level agreement
