Marketing Manager Job in Kenya (KShs 150,000)

Our client, a major producer and exporter of raw, processed and value added agricultural produce is looking to hire a Marketing Manager reporting to the Managing Director.
The Marking Manager will have a strong bias and experience in branding, brand creation, brand value and brand communication. He/she will also have experience in product placement, product outlook and visibility, advertising, media and promotions.
The main responsibility for the Marketing Manager is to build brand and execute brand campaigns for the companies various products and develop comprehensive marketing strategies to raise the market share and productive of the company’s products.
Key Responsibilities
The main responsibilities in this role include:
·         Heading the marketing team and manage all brand creation and marketing activities, within a well design and effective marketing strategy what will compliment and support the overall company strategy.
·         Conduct customer and market research to determine customer perspectives, current market conditions, competitor information and determine the requirements for growing existing market share and development of future products
·         Manage the marketing budgets, develop pricing strategies, report on all marketing activity and results and ensure all marketing projections and KPI’s are met.
·         Liaise and maintain good, strong working relationships with all third parties including the media, advertising agencies, promotion’s companies, etc.
The position is a very hands-on role, requiring a highly motivated, independent, strong, and assertive Marketing Executive who has an outstanding record of marketing achievement and who will hit the ground running. Our client is looking for enthusiastic individuals who are motivated by job satisfaction and the desire to achieve outstanding results. The ideal candidate will be having over 5 years’ relevant experience.
The successful candidate will be a degree or higher diploma holder in Marketing with in depth knowledge of the FMCG industry. He/she will demonstrate knowledge in marketing FMCG products, including the ability to create brand creation in new markets. The successful candidate will be highly numerate, computer literate, have excellent communication and reporting skills and possess a clean driver’s license.
The salary for this position is KShs 150,000 gross per month.
