Marketing Manager, Financial Accountant and Sales Executive Jobs in Kenya

In order to maintain our leadership in the industry, we are inviting applications from suitable candidates for the positions listed below:

Marketing Manager (Contract)

Reporting to the Managing Director, the holder of this position will be responsible for overall organization and administration of the Marketing department, including planning, managing, monitoring, assessment and evaluation of the marketing activities and ensuring achievement of set targets as per approved budget.

Specifically, the holder of this position will:
  • Manage the overall activities of the marketing department while ensuring the sales revenue and volume targets are met as per budgets
  • Draw and implement marketing strategies
  • Evaluate and analyze prevailing market conditions and draw up appropriate strategies
  • Prepare and submit periodic reports on marketing activities
  • Manage the overall activities of customer service sections
  • Draw and manage the income and expenditure budget for the department
  • Develop and nurture a customer focused and consumer driven marketing activities to ensure unsurpassed customer service and satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute the brand portfolio strategy, brands management, consumer research, merchandising and promotional activities to achieve the planned brand visibility and availability objectives
  • Degree in Marketing, or Business related degree plus a post graduate diploma in Marketing
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience, with four (4) being in a managerial position in a FMCG environment
  • Masters degree in related field will be an added advantage
  • Member of Marketing Professional Body
  • Conversant with use of Enterprise Resource Planning Tool
Financial Accountant

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the holder of this position will be responsible for planning and
preparation of timely financial reporting.

Specifically, the holder of this position will:
  • Maintain sound financial systems that capture the Company’s financial transactions in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Maintain a complete and comprehensive fixed assets list for accountability by the respective Managers.
  • Maintain appropriate financial data for quarterly and annual performance contract management reports.
  • Ensure proper cash flow management.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
  • Ensure periodic bank and cash reconciliations are done.
  • Ensure settlements of all due accounts are done as per the company policy.
  • Avail audit schedules as may be required from time to time for annual audit with external Auditors.
  • Carry out appropriate performance appraisal and recommend further actions.
  • Ensure safe custody and controls of accountable documents within the departments.
  • Degree in Business related degree specializing in Accounting or Finance.
  • A qualified holder of CPA- K or ACCA.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience, with three (3) being in a managerial position in a FMCG environment.
  • Conversant with use of Enterprise Resource Planning Tool.
  • Knowledge of International Accounting standards and company laws.
  • Leadership, good communicator, ability to meet strict deadlines and team player.
  • High integrity, self discipline, Strategic thinker, creative and innovative.
Sales Executive

Reporting to the Area Sales Manager and to be based in either Nairobi or any other upcountry region the successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Managing the sales and Marketing of the company’s brands through sales agents and distributors in the assigned territory,
  • Engaging the trade to create demand for the company’s brands,
  • Establishing customer requirements and satisfying them by recommending and supplying proper mix of the company’s products,
  • Providing information for decision making through properly prepared and timely reports,
  • Carrying out merchandising and outlet branding for maximum visibility of various brands and sales promotions.
Qualifications and Competence
  • Business related degree OR a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science from a recognized university plus a Diploma in sales and marketing.
  • Must be Customer focused.
  • At least two years relevant experience.
  • Team player with good communication skills, high integrity and self discipline,
  • Creative and Innovative.
  • Ability to work under pressure and time management skills that are beyond reproach.
  • Computer literate.
  • Clean driving license.
  • Below 35 years of age.
