Operations Auditor

Reporting to the Chief Internal Auditor, key responsibilities for this position are:-

  • Receiving, checking and analyzing internal controls, operational policies and procedures
  • Identifying possible risks and making recommendations.
  • Carry our audit related investigations
  • Reviewing internal controls and procedures to ensure the Commission’s operations are well coordinated
  • Identify and advice on implementation of relevant and effective internal controls
  • Overseeing stock takes and write-offs as well as conducting surprise checks
  • Monitoring status of past audit recommendations
  • Assist in the formulation of Management policies, procedures and regulations.
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer science, Economics, Mathematics or related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA-K)
  • Five Years auditing experience in reputable manufacturing industry
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)/Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) will be an added advantage.
  • Having attended a senior Management Course not less than four (4) weeks in a recognized institution will be an added advantage
  • High integrity, strong analytical and good report writing skills
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with standard office applications
  • Be in possession of certificate of good conduct
Senior Accountant (Costing)

Reporting to the Chief Accountant, key responsibilities for this position are:-
  • Managing periodic accounts, budget and projections as well as product costing and pricing.
  • Actively participate in month/semester/year-end closing and reporting
  • Track accuracy of cost allocation (cost accounting)
  • Issue monthly performance indicators of Commission’s various activities
  • Follow, track and analyze gap between standard an actual cost derived from production and gaps within the budget
  • Follow and analyze the Commission’s industrial performance (Scrap, productivity)
  • Implement indicators and corresponding action plans
  • Follow inventory levels and evaluate corresponding risks
  • Analyze the annual budget in collaboration with each designated party as defined in the annual report.
  • Implement sales cost accounting
  • Assist the Commission’s finance and Administration Manager in various analytical skills
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce (Accounting) or related field
  • Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA-K)
  • Resulted drive with excellent analytical skills
  • Five Years experience in reputable manufacturing industry

Sales & Marketing Representative

Reporting to the Sales Manager, key responsibilities for this position are:-
  • Plan and priorities personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims.
  • Plan and manage personal business portfolio accordingly.
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made
  • Establish and maintain current and potential client relationships in line with the agreed sales strategy
  • Prospect for new clients and markets
  • Oversee collection of debts
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
  • Generate periodic reports (Sales reports, Market intelligence reports, debt collections reports)
  • Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock.
  • Ensure products are priced uniformly in the outlets and work towards harmonization

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies Requirements
  • A bachelors Degree in Sales and Marketing or related field
  • Strong and proven track of sales and marketing in an FMCG company
  • Ability to persuade and influence others, to develop and deliver presentations, create, compose, and edit written materials/reports.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, knowledge of merchandising and sales promotion techniques.

Livestock Field Officers

Reporting to the Livestock Manager, key responsibilities for this position are:-
  • Coordinate livestock procurement for the Commission in their areas of deployment/regions.
  • Identify, Select and coordinate purchase of good quality livestock from suppliers,
  • Issue orders and other documentation(s) to all prospective suppliers who meet the specifications desired by the Commission based on disease control requirements.
  • Carry out field extension programmes for the Commission in areas of work
  • Participate in extension field workshops to articulate the quality aspects and market information desired to benefit the suppliers and the Commission.
  • Plan and coordinate livestock delivery schedules and maintain suppliers’ database
  • Advise the Commission on price and quality status of livestock in the region.
  • Liaise with the Veterinary Officer on disease and disease control measures in the region
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Animal production, Animal Science or other livestock related degree course.
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills
  • A minimum three (3) years experience in the relevant field.
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Experience in facilitation of livestock development activities with good coordination and presentation skills
  • Be in possession of certificate of good conduct
  • Those with Diploma in animal health/production/range management with 10 years experience will be considered.
  • Having worked in the livestock marketing sector will be an added advantage
  • Should be 45 years and below
