Kenya Electricity Generating Company Limited (KenGen) is the leading electric power generating company in Kenya and has a generation capacity of approximately 1,100 Mega Watts. The company intends to engage the services of ‘Corporate Insurance Risk Management’ in all of KenGen’s installations.
KenGen therefore wishes to pre-qualify experienced firms that will be invited to submit proposals for undertaking Corporate Risk Management Services.
Interested firms must submit a written application in the form of a conceptual report specifying the company’s profile, giving relevant certificates, financial strength, services provided and experience, staff strength and relevant qualifications.
The firms should have the following minimum criteria;
1. Certificate of Registration as a Corporate Risk Management service provider
2. Professional Indemnity Certificate for year 2011 of not less than US$ 10Million
3. Relevant reference of undertaking Corporate Risk Management from a major client in Electricity Generation with an asset base of not less than US$ 900Million -attach recommendation letter from the client
4. Evidence of firm’s experience in the provision of Corporate Risk Management service provider (at least 10 years)
Only the most responsive firms pre-qualified under this procedure will be invited to submit their proposal.
