Position: Data Clerk

The Organization
Handicap International is an INGO specialising in the field of disability and development. A strong emphasis is placed on empowering people with disabilities through their integration into mainstream development activities and the provision of appropriate health and rehabilitation services to ensure equal opportunities for all.
The Position
The Data Clerk is under the direct supervision of the Operational Manager. He/she contributes towards the development and management of the data base for Persons With Disability including baseline information for programming . He/she has to adhere to the principle of confidentiality
S/he will be responsible for
· Being the custodian and manager of the disability data and any other related biodata information with utmost accuracy and confidentiality
· Computerizing client’s bio data and follow up
· Maintaining the database software and suggesting updates and improvements
· Generating statistics reports on monthly basis and as per request
· Generate comprehensive data for reporting on key variables (per camp, by gender, type of disability,…)
· editing the data using graphs and tables
Qualifications and skills required:
Education
· Relevant training in ICT from a recognized institution
Experience
· 2 years practical experience in data entry

Languages
· Fluency in English ( written and spoken) mandatory
