POSITION: Deputy Director, Investment R Ksh (94,235.00- 120,270.00 )
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
For Appointment To This Grade, A Candidate Must Have:
(i) Served For At Least Eighteen (18) Years In The Government Investment Function, Three (3) Of Which Should Have Been At The Grade Of Assistant Director, Investment And Public Enterprise, Job Group ‘p’ And Above Or In A Comparable Position In The Wider Public Service;
(ii) Attended A Senior Management Course Lasting Not Less Than Four (4) Weeks In A Recognized Institution; And
(iii) Demonstrated Merit And Ability In Work Performance And Results.
Note: A Masters Degree In A Relevant Field From A Recognized University And Attendance To The Strategic Leadership Development Programme Lasting Not Less Than Six (6) Weeks In A Recognized Institution Will Be Added Advantages.
Duties And Responsibilities
An Officer At This Level Will Be Responsible To The Director Of Investment. Duties And Responsibilities Will Include:
(i) General Administration And Management Of The Division;
(ii) Coordinating Approval Of State Corporations’ Annual Budget, Corporate Plans And Reforms;
(iii) Treasury Approvals, Divesture And Privatization Programmes,
(iv) Reviewing Policy And Debt Restructuring; And
(v) Preparing Responses To Audit Queries And Coordinating All Public Investment Committee (pic) Matters.
