QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
For Appointment To This Grade, A Candidate Must Have:
(i) Served For At Least Twelve (12) Years In Government Investment Function, Three (3) Of Which Should Have Been At Job Group ‘m’ And Above In Government Investment And Public Enterprise Or In A Comparable Position In The Wider Public Service;
(ii) Attended A Senior Management Course Lasting Not Less Than Four (4) Weeks In A Recognized Institution; And
(iii) Shown Merit And Ability AReflected In Work Performance And Results.

Duties And Responsibilities
An Officer At This Level Will Be Responsible To The Senior Assistant Director Investment. Specific Duties And Responsibilities Will Include:
(i) Analyzing And Approving State Corporations’ Annual Budgets;
(ii) Monitoring Performance Of State Corporations;
(iii) Formulating Policy Briefs, Drawing On-lending Agreements;
(iv) Formulating Proposals For Reforms Of Government Investments;
(v) Updating And Following Up On Public Enterprise Debt Generation Of Investment Specific Reports; And
(vi) Designing Capacity Building Programmes For Staff.
