The Aga Khan University invites applications from suitably qualified individuals for the following positions:

Supervisor, Debtors

The Supervisor, Debtors is responsible to ensure that the corporate debt is collected within the stipulated period.

S/he will make recommendations in regards to uncollected amounts and long outstanding reconciling items and supervise the Team.

Applicants should have a Bachelor of Commerce, CPA II or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position.

Credit Control Officer

Reporting to the Patient Business Services Manager, the Credit Control Officer will ensure that the hospital gets paid for services rendered to all In-patients.

Applicants for the position should have a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and CPA II with a minimum of three years experience in credit control management and excellent computer skills.

Ultrasonographer

The Ultrasonographer will ensure the provision of ultrasound imaging services within the laid down standard operating policies and protocols.

Applicants should have a Diploma in Medical Imaging Sciences or equivalent and a Certificate or post graduate training in the field of Ultrasound Imaging.

S/he should have a minimum of one year working experience in an Ultrasound related position.

Plant Technician

The Plant Technician will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operations of the Incinerator, Boilers, calorifiers, Steam & Hot Water Systems and Plant room equipment.

Applicants for the position should have a Diploma in Plant Engineering from a institution e.g. National polytechnics and 3 years working experience in a similar position. Experience in Incinerators and refrigeration/air conditioning will be an added advantage. Training in ISO systems and computerized systems of maintenance will be preferred.

Plaster Technician

The Plaster Technician provides safe, competent, quality plaster services with a view to immobilizing body part/s using recommended materials. The incumbent will also assist in the application/removal and review of splints, plaster of paris/synthetic casts and orthopedic appliances.

Applicants should posses a Diploma and/or Certificate in Plaster Technician training in orthopedics and a valid license to practice from an institution recognized by the Ministry of Health. S/he should have 3 years practice in a busy hospital and demonstrate knowledge of service and legal aspects of documentation.

Supervisor, Telecommunications

The Supervisor, Telecommunications is responsible for the planning and implementation of procedures followed at the switchboard as well as scheduling and directing the daily activities of switchboard operators

Applicants should hold a Diploma in Telecommunications and a Certificate in Telephone Supervision and Administration. S/he should have 5 years experience in telephone operations at supervisory level.
