Full Time Faculty
Consultant Pathologist
The Consultant Pathologist will participate in the provision of surgical pathology, cytopathology and autopsy services.
S/he will work within a multi-disciplinary team of technologists, doctors and other health professionals to provide efficient and effective Pathology Services.
As part of the faculty team, s/he will participate in the teaching and research activities of the Postgraduate Medical Education Program (PGME) in the Department of Pathology.
Applicants should have a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MB.ChB) or equivalent degree from a recognized University with Postgraduate qualification in Anatomic Pathology.
S/he should have a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in the specialty in a reputable institution.
Applicants must be registered/ eligible for registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board as Specialists. Evidence based experience of research through publications and evidence of training / experience in cytopathology will be desirable for this position.
