Who are these thieves? Unmasking their faces.......Please beware.

As a frequent user of this site, you will realize that we respect the profession of human resource and capital in which prudence should always be practiced. Many Kenyans today are jobless and you will get Kenyan Conmen trying to make few coins from innocent job seekers. We have received many emails from you the reader complaining on various monies that you have been conned. In Human Capital Consulting we take pride in the most efficient human resource help in Kenya. We provide FREE services to job seekers with a real intention of helping and that is why we take time to warn our online database users on willy conmen out there who are trying to get their money. Today we want to compile a list of characteristics that can help you in identifying that a job is fake and give you a few examples of these conmen.

Jobs are the most sought after thing in Kenya and people take advantage of that. For example, one of our consultants told us sometimes last week, he saw a guy writing a text message to a lady called Stellah informing her that she has won a gift humper in a trivia. This was in a bus called Paradiso from Githurai 45 and this same guy was using his own phone. Are there people who believe in these things? Yes and is there something we can do? Yes. When you receive a call or email inviting you to an interview and you feel a chill, please contact us through our email and we will carry out for you a due diligence.
Last week we informed you of a job in a Nation Classified article for an airport job. The same last week we got a con game involving Pharmchem Pharmaceuticals. These guys will send you an email that is so explicit and sincere that you may be convinced that it is genuine. Last week and the week before, some people applied for a job in Pharmachem and they got the following email:

These days it’s very difficult to identify a scum because they easily have a site and even contact details of persons inside the company. But be sure it is easy to do it. The first thing you need to do is to look at the motive of the email or the call. Most of these conmen use NGOs or jobs that have a high pool of graduates thus increase economies of scale. Lastly they will ask you to pay very politely and a small fee. Imagine if they got Shs. 5,000 from 1000 applicants, they can make Shs. 500,000.
PLEASE DON’T PAY any money for an interview or test. Remember we are in this field. Human Capital Consulting (HCC) which also owns recruits on behalf employers and we DO NOT CHARGE any fees to applicants for any test or interviews. An employer pays a service fee for our professional services and this caters for all disbursements.
If anybody asks you to pay, please tell them to deduct from your first salary because there is no need to pay for anything that you can’t get and if you are not sure of nailing the job, then WHY PAY?
Once again, if you have any doubts about an interview invitation or a test invite, please contact us through email. We believe we have the best online FREE of charge customer care service.
We wish you all the best.
