Job Title: Regional Sales Representative

Job Purpose Summary
To plan and carry out  sales and marketing activities in the region so as to grow sales in line with the agreed business plans
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
·         A diploma in Sales and Marketing
·         Minimum of 3 years experience in fast moving consumer goods in greater Nairobi
·         Driving license a Must and be able to bend and twist frequently without restrictions; and sit in the driver’s position for extended periods of time
·         Ability to prioritize assigned work
·         Reporting into this position-Bike Supervisor Bike Sales Representatives
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
·         Servicing existing accounts, obtains orders and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules and route plans of the Bike Supevisor  to call on existing or potential sales outlets.
·         Ensures that Our products products gain the visibility and that distribution is well managed.
·         Submits orders and ensures proper reconciliations of stocks is done.
·         Keeps Management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as weekly and monthly reports
·         Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques etc.
·         Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to management.
·         Motivates, develops and trains the Bike Supervisors in order to achieve higher sales volumes.
·         Grow new areas.
·         Debt control and collection.
·         Supporting Marketing and promotion activities by the management to assist push sales.

·         Excellent interpersonal skills
·         Self-motivated, proactive, organized, ability to multi-task, flexible, cooperative – with a “can-do-attitude”
·         Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings, holidays and/or weekends
·         Must demonstrate an ability to build and manage relationships and positively influence various stakeholders
·         Be willing to travel in the region

·         Meet sales performance targets
·         Exceed sales quotas for self and team
·         On time performance, work ethic and quality of the Bike Rep Team
·         Accurate forecasts, updates and requested reports to the Regional Sales Manager
·         Availability of product(s) in all outlets – no stock outs
