Coffee Board of Kenya, a State Corporation mandated to promote competitiveness in the production,
processing and branding of Kenya coffee at local and international level and to regulate the Coffee Industry in the public interest, seeks to recruit a self motivated, dynamic and results-oriented person to fill the following vacancy:
HUMAN RESOURCE AND ADMINISTRATION OFFICER, SCALE CBK 8 (1 Position)
– REF.CBK/08/12/2010

Reporting to the Senior Human Resource and Administration Officer, the Human Resource and Administration
Officer will be responsible for:
- Verification of Information relating to recruitment, Appointment, Transfers
- Maintaining staff database and complement control.
- Supervising and guiding other staff in the section.
- Implement Staff Training, Development, welfare and Safety and Health policies.
- Review of Human Resource and Administration procedures and guidelines.
- Administration of Board’s assets and other related administrative duties.

Requirements for Appointment
i) A Bachelors Degree in Social Sciences/Business//Human Resource Management from a recognized
institution
ii) A Post graduate diploma in Human Resource Management;
iii) At least three (3) years experience in a similar position in a reputable organization;
iv) Demonstrated high degree of professional competence and Administrative ability in handling HR and

Administrative functions;
v) Be fluent in English and Kiswahili
vi) Must be computer literate.
vii) Must be a Team player
