The International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Kenya serves refugees in the Kakuma and Dadaab (Hagadera) camps, urban refugees in Nairobi and local communities in Nairobi and vulnerable populations in the Turkana and Fafi regions.
The IRC implements programs in the areas of comprehensive primary health care, nutrition, sanitation, hygiene, HIV/ AIDS, child protection, and urban programming.

Mid-term Evaluation Consultant

IRC is looking for a Mid-term Evaluation Consultant for its two year Regional Peace-building project that started in Dec 2009. This is a mid-term evaluation and all recommendations should inform our strategy and direction for implementation for the second and final year.
The consultant will be hired for 22 days starting January 10th 2011 and will be responsible for assessing whether the project is demonstrating progress towards achieving the project’s activities, outputs and outcomes and evaluating whether project strategies and methodologies are effective.
