The Data Integrity Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the integrity of CWS/OPE-Nairobi’s refugee case processing data and reports directly to the OPE Representative. This position acts as the focal point for all RPC communication.

This position oversees statistical reports generated within OPE Nairobi operations and is responsible for the quality and coherence management/control of all refugee data entered into the Worldwide Refugee Admissions Processing System (WRAPS). The position is also responsible for ensuring the physical and data security of all refugee information/files and developing and enforcing anti-fraud standard operating procedures.

Core Functions:
  • Serves as RPC focal point for all WRAPS Release Notes, requests for information and the Helpdesk.
  • Ensures that information from RPC is disseminated to operations staff in a timely manner and that feedback and questions from operations staff is analysed and collated for onward submission to RPC.
  • Directly supervises the Reports Analysts, WRAPS Trainer, and File Librarian, and manages their daily workloads.
  • Manages the use of WRAPS database statuses and drop down menus to ensure their consistent and coherent use and ensures regular and appropriate data clean up takes place.
  • Works closely with Reports Analysts to develop reports which monitor staff efficiency and data entry accuracy for overall quality control and improvement.
  • Oversees all standard and ad hoc reports generated by DIU staff and monitor for accuracy, precision, and timely distribution.
  • Work closely with WRAPS Trainer and Operations management to develop regular needs assessments as well as training programs and materials for Ops staff to ensure staff members are fully trained in WRAPS functions.
  • Ensure that all staff members are fully trained on all WRAPS functions.
  • Develops WRAPS SOPs.
  • Work closely with OPE IT Team and Security Coordinator to ensure WRAPS data security.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled meetings with Operations management in regards to training needs and WRAPS functionality.
  • Travel to the field to assess field team training needs and conduct on-site training as necessary
Requirements:
  • Applicant must be a US citizen
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in database management/quality control including supervisory experience.
  • High level of proficiency operating, maintaining and troubleshooting database software tools. Lean Six Sigma or equivalent quality assurance/quality control training/experience preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge in TRANSACT SQL and Microsoft SQLServer database design, stored procedures, views and functions.
  • Working knowledge of WRAPS highly desirable.
  • Previous experience with teaching, training or curriculum development is a plus.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills to resolve technological problems.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Overseas experience and knowledge of the US Refugee Admissions Program a plus.
