The Coffee Board of Kenya is a State Corporation, whose mandate is to promote competitiveness in the Coffee industry; production, processing and branding of Kenya coffee and generally to regulate the coffee industry in the public interest.
The Board’s main offices are located in Nairobi at the Coffee Plaza Building, Haile Selasie Avenue, Exchange Lane.
The Board wishes to recruit a consultant to carry out the following activities;
Documentation of Quality Management System Requirements in line with ISO 9001: 2008 Standard
The Board endeavours to be ISO 9001: 2008 Quality management system standard certified. A Service provider is thus sought to guide the development and documentation of the necessary Quality Management System documents.
Specifically the consultant is expected to undertake the following tasks:-
DOCUMENTATION OF QMS REQUIREMENTS.

- Define core and non-core processes, standard operating procedures and work instructions necessary for the achievement of organisational mandate
- Identify all documents and records required by the Quality management system
- Documentation of QMS system into manuals
- Assist the Board in attaining ISO 9001:2008 certification
- Profile of the consultant to include company background and organization structure
- Evidence of at least 5 similar assignments undertaken in reputable firms
- Audited accounts for the last three years
- Interested firm must ensure that they also provide a copy of certificate of registration/ incorporation, a copy of PIN certificate, VAT Registration certificate and a copy of Tax compliant certificate.
