We are a member based countrywide SACCO Society with its headquarters in Nairobi and wish to fill in the following vacant positions:
1. Senior Accountant 
1 Position
The Holder of this position will be reporting to the Finance Manager
Main Duties
·         Producing monthly trial balances, bank reconciliation statements and other financial reports in accordance with IAS’s and other Regulations

·         Preparation of timely and accurate management reports on issues that fall under his/her Division
·         Review of subsidiary ledgers and reconciliations to general ledger
·         Review bank reconciliation on weekly basis and ensure all reconciling items are fully explained
·         Assisting in preparation of final accounts
·         Maintain SACCO Fixed Assets register
·         Maintenance of creditors’ and debtors accounts and records, through strict adherence to the laid down controls and financial regulations of the Society.
Academic/Professional Qualifications
·         Bachelor of Commerce or Business Administration (accounting / finance option) and CPA (K) with 4 years of relevant experience or:
·         CPA (K) or equivalent and diploma in Cooperative Management with 6 years relevant experience.
·         Thorough Knowledge of financial and accounting software packages and high level of computer literacy.
2. Accountant I
2 Positions
Reporting to the Senior Accountant
Main Duties
·         Maintaining and updating the general Ledger;
·         Updating cashbooks, Petty Cashbooks and preparation of Bank Reconciliation statements;
·         Organizing and taking charge of the Accounts General
·         Controlling of all accounting documents including assets
·         Supervising cash office and cheque writing operations
·         Authorization of refunds.
Academic/Professional Qualifications
·         Bachelor of Commerce or Business Administration (accounting / finance option) and CPA III with 2 years of relevant experience or:
·         CPA III and diploma in Cooperative Management with 3 years relevant experience.
·         Thorough Knowledge of financial and accounting software packages and high level of computer literacy.
3. Internal Auditor I
1 Position
Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager.
Main Duties
·         Assisting in preparation of audit programmes and carrying out routine audit within the Society’s operations and activities;
·         Recommending systems of internal controls and checks;
·         Implementing the recommendations of the external auditors;
·         Carrying out audit investigations, Undertaking financial, operational and investigative audits
·         Assist in designing, developing and updating the internal audit manual detailing audit plans
·         Assist in preparing audit reports, queries and observations
·         Facilitating the periodic review of internal control systems to ensure their adequacy to prevent errors and irregularities
·         Carrying out a review of accounting, financial and budgetary systems
·         Ascertaining compliance with established, policies, plans, procedures and processes in the Society
·         Reviewing and appraising the soundness, adequacy and application of accounting financial and other operating controls and promoting effective controls;
Academic/Professional Qualifications
·         Be in possession of Bachelor in Commerce or Business Administration (accounting / finance option) and CPA III with 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position or;
·         CPA III and diploma in Cooperative Management or Cooperative Audit with 3 years relevant experience.
·         Be in possession of CISA Certification
4. Internal Auditor II 
1 Position
Reporting to the Internal Auditor I
Main Duties
·         Carrying out audit investigations, undertaking financial, operational and investigative audits
·         Implementing of the recommendations of the external auditors
·         Assist in the preparation of audit manual detailing and audit plans
·         Assist in preparing audit reports, queries and observations
·         Facilitating the periodic review of internal control systems to ensure their adequacy to prevent errors and irregularities;
Academic/Professional Qualifications
·         Bachelor in Commerce or Business Administration (accounting / finance option) and CPAII with 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position or;
·         CPA II and diploma in Cooperative Management or Cooperative Audit with 2 years relevant experience.
·         Be in possession of CISA Certification
5. Human Resource and Administration Officer I
(1 Position)
Reporting to the Human Resource and Administration Manager.
Main Duties
·         In charge of Payroll Section in the organisation
·         Assist in the implementation of the Performance Management System
·         Oversees maintenance of up to date staff medical accounts, monitors staff entitlement balances, updates staff dependant list on regular basis and capturing/data entry of invoices
·         Assist in compiling various HR reports for timely reporting and decision making
·         Responsible for data input in to HR database and validation of the same
·         Supervising the support staff
·         Responsible for minutes of HR & Administration meetings.
Required Qualifications
·         Bachelors Degree in Social sciences from a recognized university
·         Post graduate Diploma in HR
·         Three years relevant experience in a similar position and Computer proficiency
6. Procurement Officer I
1 Position
Reporting to the Human Resource and Administration Manager.
Main Duties
·         Guides end users on procurement and disposal methods and practices
·         Preparation and management of annual procurement plans
·         Maintain knowledge of all organizational and governmental rules affecting purchases, and provide information about these rules to organization staff members and to vendors
·         Monitor in-house inventory movement and complete inventory transfer forms for bookkeeping purposes
·         Monitor contractor performance, recommending contract modifications when necessary
·         Prepare invitation-of-bid forms and mail forms to supplier firms or distribute forms for public posting.
Academic/Professional Qualifications
·         Bachelor’s degree in Social Science or Procurement /Purchasing and Supplies Management from a reputable University;
·         Post Graduate Diploma in procurement
·         Three years working experience in a related field and Computer proficiency
7. Regional Marketing Assistants
5 Positions
Reporting to the Marketing and Customer Relations officer, these positions will be on one year contract basis and regional based.
Main Duties
·         Recruitment of new members ;
·         Assisting in marketing the SACCOs products and Services
·         Manage activities of the regional Sales/marketing and ensuring that the sales/revenue targets are met
·         Preparation of Regional annual business and periodic sales/activity plans;
·         Prepare and submit monthly and periodic reports;
Academic Qualifications
·         Certificate in Sales and Marketing from recognized institutions
·         Two years work experience in sales and marketing in a reputable organization
·         Minimum C- in KCSE
·         Computer Proficiency
