Our client,Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a leading conservancy organization in Laikipia County, Kenya. They wish to identify suitable candidates for the following positions:
Brand Marketing Manager
Ref: SGK/PR&MKT MGR/10/2010
Reporting to Head of Conservation Marketing, the ideal candidate will be assisting the Ol Pejeta conservancy in fulfilling its aim to publicize and market the work of the conservancy within the region, nationally and internationally by performing the following duties:

·         Become the on-the-ground main contact for the Department and act as the “eyes and ears”.
·         Assist to develop and implement an aggressive online marketing strategy.
·         Responsible for the update, upkeep and enforcement of the Ol Pejeta style and brand.
·         Lead the “social networking” programme for the Conservancy, including updating the website, Facebook, Twitter, Wikipedia, You Tube.
·         Involved in designing, writing and responsible for gathering information for inclusion in the newsletters and reports.
·         Organizing open days, exhibitions / information stands and trade shows.
Person Profile
·         University Degree/Diploma in public relations, Journalism or Communication.
·         At least 4 year working experience in marketing or public relations.
·         Demonstrated ability to write/Produce communications materials.
·         Must be very proficient in Computer packages, modern information technology and presentation skills.
Chimpanzee Senior Supervisor
Ref: SGK/CSS/10/2010
Reporting to Chief Conservation Officer, the ideal candidate will co-ordinate the efficient and effective management of the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary.
The person will be responsible of the following:
·         Supervise day to day running of the sanctuary as per agreed standard operating procedures and ensuring all the chimpanzees are healthy.
·         Institute approved standard captive animal management procedures and offer relevant on-the-job training to other sanctuary staff.
·         Collaborate with relevant institutions in the management of captive chimpanzees and assist in preparation of scientific papers related to captive chimpanzee management.
Person Profile
·         Bachelor’s degree in either natural science or veterinary medicine. Veterinary medicine applicants MUST be registered with Kenya Veterinary board.
·         At least 2 years relevant experience. Those with training and/or experience in captive animal management will have an added advantage.
·         Good administrative skills and a valid driving license we are necessary.
