Director of Curriculum Development
The successful candidate will be a mature professional with demonstrable hands-on experience in designing, writing, editing and producing instructional classroom materials, ideally at primary level. You will take responsibility for upgrading all of the instructional components of the company’s unique ‘School in a Box’ system.
You must also have strong management experience and experience in scaling up instructional systems to serve large numbers of students, teachers and institutions. The post is suitable for someone who has led the development of widely-distributed commercially published textbooks or scripted instructional materials. An appropriate educational qualification is important.
Director of Teacher Training
Teachers for company schools are recruited from the local community and may have no previous teaching experience. This position takes responsibility for the hands-on training of such people, and for developing training methodologies and materials.
You must have direct experience in developing and implementing large scale multi-week teacher training courses, including the design of scripted training materials, tools, systems and learning activities, as well as evaluative assessments. Experience in the private education sector is essential. The number of teachers will grow exponentially and the successful candidate must be able to scale up the training operations to cover thousands of people in multiple locations.
