Symphony is looking for an individual to join our dynamic team, in the following position:

Business Development Manager – Business Software Solutions

Reporting to the Senior Manager Business Software Solutions, the Business development Manager will be involved in;
  • Developing new business for software solutions and services.
  • Managing existing software solutions customers and generating new business within.
  • Identifying and fulfilling the market demands for new software solutions and other related services.
  • Implementing meaningful and pragmatic business plans and ensuring successful realization of such plans.

  • Managing Multiple Technical Teams of highly skilled people to deliver the technical projects successfully.
  • Providing direction on current technologies and building appropriate capacity to achieve business objectives.
The person must possess the following qualities:
  • Be excited by large value sales opportunities that improve customer operations substantially.
  • Ability to innovate and pursue such business opportunities.
  • Be curious about understanding the complexities of multiple IT platforms, commonly found in the customer base.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Capable of creating highly effective offer proposals.
Education and Experience

The ideal candidate for this position should have;
  • Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology.
  • At least 8 years relevant experience with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • A proven track record in target oriented selling.
  • Excellent technical writing skills.
  • Strong oral and written skills.
