SCAD would like to provide an opportunity for you to do so through our internship programme.
We are a non-profit organization that runs alcohol, drugs abuse and spread of HIV/AIDS prevention programs among the young people in learning institutions.
Required
This will ideally be someone with relevant basic experience working with a youth serving organization.S/he will need to demonstrate understanding of strategies and approaches for behavior change communication, good analytical skills, familiarity with research and scientific data collection methods, good documentation and communication skills; and good IT skills.
S/he will have a good understanding of development issues and an appreciation of the role of youth in development processes, and be a good team player with a high degree of personal commitment and integrity, enthusiasm and the ability to give and receive feedback.
Strong writing and people skills with the ability to network and influence key stakeholders are also key as is an awareness of diversity issues, self driven and has the ability to work effectively with minimum supervision.
Terms
This is an unpaid job opportunity that will provide the ideal candidate with career entry learning experience. You will be supported with a daily allowance to cater for transport and lunch.
