PATH (Program for Appropriate Technology in Health) is a nonprofit, internationally recognized
public health organization with the mission to improve the health of people around the world
by advancing technologies, strengthening systems and encouraging healthy behaviors.

PATH works with the government, NGO partners and the private sector to strengthen health services for populations with the greatest needs on HIV /AIDS and Adolescent Development Reproductive & Child Health.

PATH’s Kenya Country Program seeks to fill the following positions:

Health Care Waste Management [HCWM] Project Director

As head of the project and key liaison to donors, government counterparts, local organizations,
and program partners, the candidate will be responsible for providing overall technical vision
and leadership to the project.

S/he will negotiate and influence policy and project decisions with senior government and donor officials and provide guidance on the development and successful implementation and monitoring of the project’s strategy, as well as the overall direction for technical and administrative operations under the contract.

Health Care Waste Management [HCWM] Technical Advisor

To provide technical leadership in the area of HCWM for the project. This will include playing a
critical role in shaping all aspects of the five-year project strategy and overall work plan.

Monitoring & Evaluation [M&E] Officer

To manage project M&E activities, including collaborating with partners in the development of a
national M&E framework, facilitating data collection and analysis in all project areas, overseeing
audience research, and coordinating with local partners.

Procurement & Logistics Officer

Manage all aspects of commodity technical assistance including developing and advancing
standards, guidelines and tools related to HCWM commodity procurement and logistics.

Program Assistant

To provide a wide range of administrative support services to the HCWM project team.

TB Technical Advisor

Responsible for coordinating and implementing programmatic activities in the area of TB/HIV
integration. S/he must be experienced in integrated TB/HIV facility and community level
programming. The work is spread in six districts of Nyanza province (Homabay, Rachuonyo,
Gucha, Borabu, Masaba and Manga) with a project approach focused on integration of HIV care
and treatment in PMTCT and TB sites.

Finance Advisor

To provide management for financial and administrative processes and systems on a youth HIV
prevention project, including establishment of said systems, as well as ensuring compliance with
USAID and PATH policies. Provide guidance and build the capacity of finance staff of a local
organization. Management experience required.

Finance Manager

To develop and implement the appropriate financial management and administrative processes
and systems, and ensure compliance with USAID and PATH policies and procedures, for a local
organization called HIV Free Generation.

Communications Manager

To increase external communication and manage publicity of a local youth HIV prevention
organization and a youth grassroots campaign. Regularly document project activities and
successes, liaise with media and market the organization. Excellent writing skills and experience
with media are a must.

Events Officer

To help develop, provide support and manage implementation of community events for youth as
part of HIV Free Generation, a local organization.

Media Officer

To provide technical guidance and communication support for planning and delivery of youth
behavior-change-communication through mass media campaign interventions for the local
organization, HIV-Free Generation. Programmatic working experience with youth is required.

Web Designer & ICT Officer

Looking for a young designer with experience in graphic design and website hosting, as well
as innovative communication technologies. This person will be responsible for maintaining
content and design of a hip, attractive youth website with regular updates, as well as promoting
this website.

In addition, the officer will provide support to the planning and implementation of interactive communication activities for youth such as SMS platforms and other virtual media for a local organization, HIV Free Generation.
