1. Project Engineers 
2 Positions
(1 Civil Engineer and 1 Electrical Engineer)

Job Overview

This position is responsible for planning, executing and supervising projects in accordance to the TOR and client expectations.

Accountabilities
  • Estimate costs and submit bids for engineering, construction, or extraction projects, and prepare contract documents.
  • Attend to pre-tender site visits/meetings and pre-shipment inspections and initiating action with support to management.

  • Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.
  • Research/oversee, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.
  • Perform personnel functions, such as supervision of site work, technicians, agents and foremen, design of evaluation programs, safety/health/environment monitoring, quality assurance, time programs and scheduling
  • Preparation, submission, certification and follow up of payment claims
  • Solicit new business and provide technical customer service.
  • Liaison with suppliers, clients/other project engineers
  • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Qualification and skills
  • B.Sc /B. Tech degree with minimum Upper Division in Civil/ Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in a similar organization
  • Computer proficiency in Ms Office, Ms Project, Autocad
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Good Organizational and analytical abilities
  • Good leadership and interpersonal skills
2. Assistant Accountant

Job Overview
  • Maintain ledgers, cashbooks and all bank accounts
Accountabilities
  • Maintain all bank accounts to ensure sufficient cash flow, accurate records and good relationship with banks
  • Prepare weekly cash flow summary and cash investment report
  • Daily analysis of entries on the bank statement and make necessary cash book entries
  • Ensure timely, complete and accurate cash book entries (receipts, payments and journals)
  • Carryout monthly bank reconciliations for all bank accounts as advised
  • Responsible for all bank correspondences
  • Manage float (imprest) account and ensure that all advances are properly and timely accounted for
  • Official bank agent to transact bank business on behalf of the Organization
  • Monthly staff debtors accounts, carryout monthly reconciliation and advise on payroll recoveries (Staff loans and others)
  • Monitor project budgets and follow up on procurement requests
  • Report regularly on the projects accounts
Qualifications and Skills:
  • University Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of CPA II
  • 2 years experience in Accounting, Auditing or Finance
  • Must be computer literate with experience in MS packages
3. Sales Executive

Job Overview

The sales officer will be responsible for new business development
 at Penelly by generating new leads and following up on Prospects so as to convert them to clients.

Accountabilities
  • Facilitate the growth of Penelly Construction business through the sale of water and energy solutions to individual and corporate clients
  • Ensure that the organization retains and grows its existing customer base and consequently its existing revenue
  • Responding to enquiries/quotations/requisitions in a timely fashion
  • Draft proposals in order to prospect for new business
  • Build a referral and lead generation network
  • Build a Dealer network to increase outlets for Penelly products
  • Following up on leads generated by other staff members
  • Communicating with internal and external customers to acquire more business from them
  • Maintaining customer relationships
  • Developing the corporate brand strategy
  • Develop and supervise sales executives
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree/ Business Administration/Marketing or equivalent
  • Above 4 years experience in a similar position
  • Proposal writing skills
  • Report writing skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • A pro-active self-starter who can operate both individually and as part of a team
  • Outstanding needs analysis, positioning, business justification and closing skills
  • Superior presentation and excellent verbal and written communication skills
