National Housing Corporation (NHC) Human Resource Officers Jobs in Kenya

National Housing Corporation (NHC) is a State Corporation established under the Housing Act Cap 117 Laws of Kenya and whose mission is to play a leading role, in the efficient provision of adequate and affordable housing and related services.

NHC is seeking to recruit suitably qualified Kenyan citizens to fill the following positions: -

Human Resource Officer I (Human Resource Management)

The Human Resource Officer I will be responsible for all aspects related to Human Resource Management including assisting in the enforcement of Human Resource regulations, administration of staff contracts, recruitment and selection as well as preparation of annual salary budget.

For appointment to this position the candidate must:

  • Be in possession of a Bachelors of Arts degree in Social Sciences or Business Administration from a recognized University.
  • Possess a post graduate diploma in Human Resources Management.
  • Possess six (6) years relevant experience in the field of Human Resource Management.
  • Demonstrate proven experience in supervisory role in the area of Human Resource Management.
  • Be a member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRMK) or Kenya Institute of Management (KIM).
  • Be a team player with good interpersonal skills.
  • Be computer literate.
Human Resource Officer II (Training & Development)

The Human Resource Officer II will handle all aspects related to training and development including identifying training needs and designing appropriate training programmes, providing guidance on training and development matters, co-ordinating and providing logistics pertaining to facilitation of both external and internal training, coordination of industrial attachments and internship of students.

For appointment to this position the candidate must:
  • Be in possession of a Bachelors of Arts degree in Social Sciences or Business Administration from a recognized University.
  • Possess a post graduate diploma in Human Resources Management & development.
  • Possess three (3) years relevant experience in the field of Human Resource training and development.
  • Demonstrate proven experience in the area of Training and Development.
  • Be a member of Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRMK) or Kenya Institute of Management (KIM).
  • Be a team player with good interpersonal skills.
  • Be computer literate
The above positions are on a three (3) years renewable contract and the successful candidates will be subject to performance contracting.
