Linksoft is a leading telecommunication service provider with operations in East African and parts of West Africa and wants to expand its existing services throughout entire Africa. Further, Linksoft wants to increase its service depth and develop into a technology expert in telecommunications sector.
Linksoft has the current vacant positions that form the Technical Core Group.
1. Manager, Projects

This is a senior position that requires a Bachelor of Technology, Telecommunications or Electronics Engineering  Degree with 8-10years post graduate experience. An advanced degree in Project Management or MBA will be an added advantage.
2. Base Station Subsystem (BSS)/ Radio Network Manager
The candidate will have 5-8 years post graduate experience in a BSS maintenance environment. He/she will have ability to lead a team of BSS experts. The candidate should have a basic degree in Telecommunications Engineering.
3. Manager, Passive Infrastructure
This position will manage and coordinate technical issues relating to BTS/MSR maintenance. This will include Generator maintenance, Power solutions for remote sites, cooling systems and other aspects of BTS maintenance. The job holder will have technical expertise in Mechanical or Electrical engineering, and 5-8 years post graduate experience.
4. Network Planning Manager
The jobholder will have over 5 years post graduate experience in Network planning in a Telecommunications environment. She/he will be a Telecommunication, Electronic Engineering or Technology graduate with 5-10 years experience.
5. Manager, Linksoft Telecoms Academy
The position will have responsibility over the Linksoft Center of Excellence which provides telecommunications and other trainings. The job holder will have over 5 years experience in talent development and organization learning.
6. Process Improvement Leader
The job holder will have experience in implementing and managing Quality management systems. He/she will have proficiencies in Internal audits, SOP documentation, process evaluation and will have carried out surveillance audits.
7. Country Manager (not in Kenya)
This is a senior position which directs and coordinates operations in the Country office and is responsible to the Group CEO. The country manager will have experience in leading people, strategy implementation, contract negotiation and management, and financial management. An MBA is an added advantage.
8. HSE  Officer
Reporting to the Process Improvement Leader, the job holder will have experience in Health, Safety and Environment. He/she will initiate and implement HSE policies within the organization. The job holder will coordinate statutory HSE and Quality audits.
9. Technical Assistant to CTO
This will be young energetic graduate engineer starting out in a Telecoms career and willing to work under an more experienced Technical person. The TA will be responsible liaising with the Heads of Technical in various countries on behalf of the CTO.
