Lead ICT

Job Description: Developing and maintaining software application; assisting in defining, developing and implementing IT strategies; providing professional support to end users; managing the company`s computer network; managing all ICT related issues, ensuring the hardware is in a working condition.
Minimum Qualification Requirement: At least University degree in information technology or equivalent; at least 3 years working experience in system analysis; good interpersonal and communication skills; be able to work under pressure; conducting in-house staff straining.
Procurement Officer
REF/ PO/2/6/10

Job Description: Coordination of purchases approved by the Managing Director for all units; maintaining purchase records; preparation of quarterly returns of procurement purchases; carrying out market research, price survey and vender ratings; monitoring and implementation of UNES Tender/Procurement committee decisions; following up receipts of goods delivered to the stores; following up with the suppliers on purchase of goods; identification of surplus and obsolete stores and equipment for disposal; custodian of GRNs.
Minimum Qualification Requirements: At least a degree in Business Administration or equivalent, plus at least 3 years relevant experience; a post-graduate qualification in purchasing and supply chain management from a recognized institution, preferably the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply; ability to work under pressure; knowledge of Procurement Rules and Regulations; good interpersonal and analytical skills; computer literate.
Expenditure Officer
REF/ EO/3/6/10
Job Description: Coding of data in the system; preparation of cheques and payment summaries for transmission to the bank; preparation of payment vouchers, cheques and payment advices; maintaining corporate float; an agent for UNES bank account for cashing cheques; preparation of statutory deductions and ensuring full compliance; preparation of monthly bank reconciliation statements; and performing any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Qualification Requirements: Bachelor of Commerce (accounting option) or equivalent; CPA II or equivalent and 3 years relevant experience; computer literate; possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
Revenue Officer
REF/RO/4/6/10
Job Description: Revenue collection for IGUs and Consultancy Units; posting of all revenue from IGUs and Business Units; receiving collection reports from the cashiers; verifying and updating into accounting system; debt collection for IGUs and Consultancy Units.
Minimum Qualification Requirement: A degree in Business Administration (accounting option) or its equivalent; CPA II or equivalent with 3years experience; be computer literate; and possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
Accounts Clerks

Job Description: Data capture in the financial system; recording payment claims, invoices, LPOs in the relevant registers; filing documents in the finance office; collection of CVs & receipts from various IGUs; receiving collection reports from various cashiers, reconciling revenue ledgers; sending payment notifications to suppliers and service providers; performing any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Job Specification: Diploma in Business Management or equivalent; CPA II or equivalent with 3 years relevant experience; computer literate; good interpersonal and communication skills.
F&B Supervisors
REF/FBS/6/6/10:
Job Description: Overseeing the restaurant operations; supervisory duties to all F&B staff and ensuring that duties are discharged in a professional and efficient manner; ensuring that desired customer satisfaction levels are met; providing product knowledge to all guests; welcoming of guests into the restaurant and conference; implementing effective recycling initiatives /guidelines to ensure recyclable materials are discarded responsibly; work with the Chef to ensure that high quality food is produced as per customer requirement, expectation and presentation.
Minimum Qualification Required: Diploma in Hotel Management from a recognised Institution; certificate in food & beverage management or equivalent from a recognised Institution; 3 years experience as an F & B supervisor in a 3- 5 star restaurant/hotel; good communication and interpersonal skills; selling skills ; certificate in customer care and be computer literate.
Driver (Motor Cycle/Vehicle) Cum Messenger
REF/DCV/7/6/10:
Job Description: Driving UNES Vehicles and riding the motor cycle; carrying out messengerial duties; ensuring that the motor vehicle or/and motor cycle are well maintained and always in a serviced condition; performing any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Qualification Requirement: KCSE level of education or equivalent, with at least C- (minus) aggregate; clean valid motor-cycle and vehicle licenses; possess a clean driving license for at least 3 years; 3 years satisfactory motor –cycling after obtaining license; basic vehicle maintenance skills; good communication skills in both English and Kiswahili; able to work outside normal working hours; knowledge of CBD and be computer literate.
Registry Assistant
REF/RA/8/6/10:
Job Description: Maintain good filing system & ensure security of the records; monitor the efficient maintenance and tracking of records; ensuring access restriction; maintain finance records throughout the life cycle; liaise with Heads of Units to design and implement records management policies and retention schedules of the organization; preparing archival finding aids; periodic appraisal of records.
Minimum Qualification Requirement: KCSE C- ( Minus); Diploma in Archives/Records Management; at least three years experience in a busy registry/archives; must be conversant with Kenyan legislation on Records/Archives Administration; effective verbal and written communication skills; hands on experience on bulky financial records will be an added advantage.
