Trans Business Machines Bureau Manager Job Vacancy in Kenya

TBM in Kenya is seeking to fill the position of Bureau Manager with an individual who is proactive and self driven and who can apply their knowledge, diligence, and experience to contribute to the achievement of our vision.
Principal Accountabilities
  • Define and align the business unit goals and objectives against the business strategic initiatives.
  • Planning ,forecasting,reporting on sales, cost and business performance according to company requirements.
  • Managing sales of computer accessories, mobile phones, airtime vouchers and Mpesa services.
  • Managing cash and payment systems in accordance with company policies and procedures at all times.
  • Planning and implementing bureau merchandising layout and customer traffic flow so as to maximize sales and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Manage the operational expenditure of the assigned business function.
  • Liaise with and utilize support from suppliers merchandiser's and other partners involved.
  • Seek and continuously develop knowledge and information about competitor activity ,pricing tactics and communication relevant to the business.
  • Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly sales report to the Directors.
  • Continuously ensure that staff are motivated to perform at required standards.
  • Ensure that performance targets are set for the team by defining performance indicators and objectives for the staff and developing the skill base of the staff assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
  • A Diploma in Business Management from a reputable college.
  • Two years relevant working experience.
  • Working experience in the implementation of new products and services within a service oriented environment;
  • Ability to supervise and manage a team of qualified staff.
  • An innovative and creative approach to addressing business challenges, with the ability to understand and adapt quickly to changing customer expectations;
  • Ability to prioritize conflicting business demands and resolving issues quickly.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Ability to cope with the pressures of working in a customer service oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
