EVERYONE Campaign Manager
(1 position based Nairobi. 12 month contract)
Successfully lead in the development and implementation of a strategy for newborn and child survival (NCS), also known as the Everyone Campaign in Kenya.
Person Specification
A Degree, ideally Masters, in media studies with significant professional experience of working at a senior advisory level, experience in developing and planning popular campaign strategies that engage a variety of stakeholders within networks and coalitions for campaign purposes. Familiarity with maternal, new born and child survival issues in Kenya.
Fluent in English and Swahili.
Closing date 6th August 2010.
Education Advisor


(1 position based Nairobi. 16 month contract)
Responsible for expanding Save the Children’s portfolio of education programming, contribute significantly to Save the Children’s strategic objectives, national/global learning and advocacy. Ensure all education programming is of excellent technical quality.
Person Specification
A Degree, ideally Masters, in education or equivalent with significant professional experience of working at senior advisory level in education for INGOs, proven representation and advocacy skills, excellent understanding of the education sector within the Kenyan context, particularly in informal and nomadic education issues.
Experience in promoting and mainstreaming Child Rights Based programming in education programme design, implementation and evaluation.
Fluent in English and Swahili. Closing date 6th August 2010.
