1. Legal Counsel

Job Description
  • Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel, the officer shall be expected to;
  • Prosecute copyright infringement cases
  • Attend to public enquiries on Copyright and related rights
  • Prepare training sessions for rights holders, users and enforcement agencies
  • Vetting of Copyright registration and applications for anti piracy security device
  • Preparation of papers
  • Carry out relevant research on Copyright and related rights
  • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Executive Director
Requirements

  • Law degree from a recognized university
  • Be an advocate of the High court of Kenya
  • Competence in Intellectual Property
  • Candidates with postgraduate Diploma qualifications in the field of Intellectual Property shall have an added advantage.
2. Clerical Officer II

Job Description
This is the entry grade for this cadre.
An officer at this level will carry out general clerical duties and work under close supervision of a senior officer.
Requirements
  • KCSE mean grade C or its equivalent
  • Previous experience from a recognized organisation/institution
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Possession of a certificate in either Human Resource Management, Records Management or Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage
3. Driver II

Job Description
  • Drive the Board’s vehicle
  • Ensure vehicles are in good shape;
  • Detect and report common faults;
  • Keep the vehicle clean and carrying out minor repairs including oiling and greasing;
  • Maintenance of a work ticket for vehicles assigned.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Executive Director
Requirements
  • KCSE certificate mean grade “D” plain or its equivalent
  • Possession of a clean valid driver’s license
  • Certificate of good conduct from Criminal Investigation Department
  • At least three (3) years of active driving experience
  • A First Aid Certificate from St John’s Ambulance or any recognized institution
  • Have excellent knowledge of the highway code
4. Office Assistant
