Pharmacists/Scientists with Managerial Experience – Stretch Your Professional Potential

A rapidly growing pharmaceutical manufacturing Company supplying the East African Market has vacancies in the following positions:
Qualified Person (Quality Assurance Manager)
  • As an experienced Qualified Person, you will have a thorough understanding of the roles and functions of QP, be able to understand and implement quality systems.
  • You will be involved in training and development and use your wider understanding to set objectives and monitor the various departments.
  • You will have demonstrable leadership qualities, communication skills, analytical and report writing skills and have excellent academic credentials.
  • The Qualified Person will usually be a Pharmacist with relevant experience and training or an appropriately qualified (formal qualifications) scientist with at least 5 years experience and training in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
Quality Control (QC) Manager (s)

  • As the head of Quality Control you will be responsible for all Quality Control procedures in line with GMP and GLP, you will ensure that the required initial and continuing training of departmental personnel is carried out;
  • to ensure Good Laboratory Practice is established, maintained and continuously improved.
  • You will be a pharmacist or suitably qualified scientist with a minimum of 3-5 experience of which at least 1 must be as a manager.
  • You will have demonstrable leadership skills, be competent in the use of all testing equipment and lab procedures, be conversant with all cGxPs,
  • You will have excellent report writing and communication skills and we encourage you to supply evidence of the above specs with your application.
Production Managers

The Production Manager (s) are responsible for the day-to-day aspects of production and GMP; managing workers performance; maintenance of his department, premises and equipment; to ensure that the required initial and continuing training of his departmental personnel is carried out.

In addition, the production manager(s) will have other responsibilities bearing on quality which he will share, or exercise jointly, with the person responsible for
Quality Control.

You will have 3-5 years experience managing a production department/line in a pharmaceutical, cosmetic or foods/beverage industry.

Evidence of leadership qualities, understanding of manufacturing principles and excellent academic credentials are a must.

You will be a pharmacist/scientist or an engineer (B Eng or above) with the relevant experience and training.

A business administration education will count favourably.
