Moving the Goalposts (MTG) is an innovative, unique and expanding development programme that uses football to provide opportunities for GIRLS to improve their socio-economic and health status. It is based in Kilifi, Kaloleni and Ganze district in Coast Province. It reaches out to close to 3,000 girls in more than 150 girls’ football teams (
MTG is looking for a finance and administration manager to lead the support of its growing programmes in football for development and girls and women’s rights.
Finance and Administration Manager
The finance and administration manager will report to the Executive Director and lead the programme support unit: S/he will oversee all financial systems, manage and maintain IT assets, manage the administration of grants, oversee human resource management and administrative activities.
Person specification
  • At least five years work experience at a middle or senior level in finance and administration in an NGO setting
  • A graduate with a degree in administration, financial management, commerce or related subject

  • Strong accounting background with ability to prepare financial reports, statements and projections and excellent knowledge and experience of accounting software
  • Excellent verbal, analytical, organisational and writing skills
  • Adaptable with a strong commitment to the promotion of girls’ and women’s rights and the use of football for development
  • Willing to be based in Kilifi, coast province
