Brief Description
Ensure group debts are adequately secured and paid on time to improve cash flow and minimize loss through bad debts

Detailed Description

  • Develop, review and ensure adherence to the group’s credit policy and procedures to minimise bad debts.
  • Ensure group debts are secured to agreed levels through bank guarantees or other acceptable forms of security in order to minimise the risk of loss through bad debts.
  • Ensure all credit sales are billed accurately and promtly
  • Ensure all cash received is allocated to specfic invoices promptly
  • Ensure customer complaints and queries are resolved to facilitate collection, enhance and maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Consolidate and review periodic credit control reports to provide management with information for decision-making.
  • Develop and train staff to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Control cost centre expenses to improve profitability.
  • Review and approve debtors’ reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records
Job Requirements
  • Graduate – Bcom or other business degree
  • CPA qualification or equivalent
