Our client, Kenya Airports Authority (KAA), is a State Corporation established under the Kenya Airports Authority Act (Cap 395), whose mandate is to construct, operate and maintain aerodromes, as well as provide such other amenities and facilities for passengers and other persons making use of the services or other facilities so provided within Kenya.

Auditor Finance

Job Profile
  • To audit the authority’s finance systems and related processes to ensure they meet the required standards, procedures and processes.
The Key result areas include:
  • Implements the annual audit work plans for finance systems to ensure compliance.
  • Undertakes specific audit tests and procedures to determine tile effectiveness and efficiency of financial systems.
  • Undertakes monthly, quarterly and half yearly financial audits reviews as per the Annual Audit Plan.
  • Appraises the prudence of accounting, financial, business process and other operating controls established to mitigate potential risks and or detect their occurrence.
  • Prepares comprehensive audit working papers and audit reports to ensure that quality and standards are observed.
  • Verifies and confirms the existence of all assets.
  • Undertakes audits on revenue and expenditures from time to time to ensure controls are maintained all the time.
  • Conducts follow-up audits with Auditees to determine whether appropriate action has been taken on areas audited.
  • Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and make recommendations on areas requiring improvement.
Person Profile
  • University degree in accounting or related field.
  • Professional qualification either in CPA (K) ACCA or its equivalent.
  • Should have a minimum of three (3) years experience in a busy audit Environment.
  • Good computer knowledge and application.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with various levels of management and staff.
  • Certification in CIA or CISA will be an added advantage.
ICT Services Delivery Manager

Job Profile
  • To provide secure, reliable, resilient and efficient ICT services that will provide users with tools that will enhance productivity throughout Kenya Airports Authority and the Stakeholders.
  • Develop and continuously review ICT Services Delivery Policies and standards and ensure they are fully implemented
  • Ensure that all user systems are secure and data integrity is maintained all the time.
  • To review and recommend on infrastructure and systems upgrades in line with changing business and technology needs.
  • To ensure that ICT equipment and systems are supported as per service level agreements with users.
  • Provide the Authority and other authorized users with a secure and reliable working desktop environment that will enhance productivity through out the company.
  • Ensure provision of timely and accessible responsive service/help desk that supports the ICT users.
  • Build and maintain and regularly test ICT Business Continuity Plan and implement necessary Disaster Recovery policies and procedures and site that would enable the Authority Operations to run in case of a disaster.
  • Undertake research in conjunction with the ICT Services Development Manager to get and evaluate new products to ensure the Authority continues to take leverage of Technology developments in the Industry.
  • Maintains an up to date inventory for the entire Authority’s ICT asset portfolio for effective planning .
  • Develop the ICT Services Delivery budget and control the cost centre.
  • Provides leadership to the ICT Services Delivery team.
  • Ensures the effective implementation and maintenance of KAA Quality Management System.
  • Ensure that effective service level agreements are maintained for all services.

Person Profile
  • University degree in IT or related field
  • MSCE, CCNA or similar Certification
  • UNIX/Windows -knowledge and application

Network Infrastructure Manager

Job Profile
  • To provide secure, reliable, resilient and efficient data, voice and video communications services to enhance productivity throughout the organization and its Stakeholders.
  • To formulate, implement and manage the Network Infrastructure policies and procedures for the Authority.
  • Implements the Network Infrastructure Strategy in consultation with the General Manager ICT and related stakeholders
  • To provide leadership to the Network Infrastructure Team, by, developing and motivating the staff to ensure they perform to expected standards.
  • Develop and control the budget for the cost centre.
  • To establish Voice, Radio, Video and Data communications standards for LAN’s and WAN’s for all stations of the Authority and ensure adherence.
  • To ensure effective design, preparation of specifications, implementation and rollout of the Network Infrastructure for the Authority in all its points of presence and ensure compliance to standards.
  • Provide guidance and supervision on all ICT infrastructure projects.
  • Evaluate the performance of all ICT infrastructures from time to time and provide compliance certification or action plan thereof.
  • Draws up and evaluates service level agreements between ICT internal and external stakeholders on Network Infrastructure performance.
  • Coordinates calibration , payment and licensing of all network infrastructure services and equipment in liaison with other internal and external bodies.
  • Implements and reviews the network infrastructure physical and logical security measures to ensure adequate security of the network all the time.
  • Develops and test, redundancy and disaster contingency plans to mitigate against occurrences and ensure business continuity.
  • To ensure availability of documentation entire network infrastructure for ease of management of all communications services.
  • Provides leadership to the network infrastructure team.
Person Profile
  • University Degree in IT, Telecomms or related field.
  • Certification – MCSE or CNE.
  • Minimum of 5 Years experience in Infrastructure, design implementation and management.
  • Deep knowledge of Telecomms, Networks, Infrastructure Design and Implementation.
  • Project Management skills.
Information Systems Security Officer

Job Profile
  • Develops and maintains the ICT systems security policy and procedures to ensure that KAA systems are secure all the time.
  • Formulate the KAA ICT Security Policy and procedures based on industry best practice.
  • Conducts security analysis of the operating environment to ensure the integrity of the system is maintained.
  • Ensure continuous IT systems security compliance and monitoring for information protection and enforce controls.
  • Conducts continuous information security awareness and develops a training program on the same for KAA’s employees in liaison with other departments.
  • Conducts system audits and provide management with a compliance analysis and action plans to correct the deficiencies to eliminate information vulnerabilities.
  • Provides metrics and indicators for effective information protection.
  • Evaluates and certifies business application requirements against the web application security architecture and other security standards.
  • Actively leads and participates in project teams responsible for evaluating, building, testing and implementing security application systems and web application services.
  • Ensures the effective implementation and maintenance of KAA Quality Management System.
Person Profile
  • University degree in computer technology or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience with knowledge of network technologies, network management, PKI, security, architecture, design and investigation.
  • Experience with windows security, configurations, protocols and connectivity points.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Extensive windows OS (Operating System) knowledge.

Help Desk Administrator

Job Profile
  • To administer and facilitate the management and resolution of ICT related problems through the ICT Help Desk.
  • To administer and manage the ICT Help Desk.
  • To provide best practice customer service to the ICT users in the Authority.
  • To escalate all unresolved system calls to the relevant solution provider / engineer and follow up to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • To escalate calls with delayed resolution to the ICT Services Delivery Manager.
  • To perform various analysis for logged in calls and advise on conformance to the existing / respective SLA’S.
  • Records and tracks incidents and complaints for record and action purposes.
  • Monitors and escalates incidents to enforce appropriate service level standards.
  • Provides management information and recommendations for service improvement to improve the quality of service
  • Closes incidents and configuration with customers to ensure resolution of problems and status reporting to the customers.

Systems Administrator
