Heavy Plant and Machinery Sales Executive Job Vacancy

Reporting to the Head of Sales Division, the ideal person should be able to build relationships with customers by interacting closely with them, and endeavours to bring new customers to the company.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Must expand his base and bring in new customers and for that he should learn to identify potential customers and their needs
  • While interacting with clients they must be able to make fast and correct calculations and provide them with sales quotations
  • Must follow market and customer information and on this basis and report on future buying trends
  • Has to attend events like trade fairs to represent the company and keep abreast with the market trends.
  • Should be able to negotiate effectively with the customers.
  • Must be in touch with suppliers and check on the status of existing orders
  • Must keep records of sales information and file them in the sales office
  • Constant communication with the customers.

  • Must have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be persuasive, firm, well-mannered and a good negotiator
  • Must work in a team and be confident
  • Must be a smart worker.
  • Be sensitive to the customers’ needs and requirements
  • Must be results oriented.
  • Have a thorough knowledge in Heavy plant and equipment.
  • Be able to guide customers to identify a comparative advantage.
Education and Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a Business related Course.
  • Individuals with experience in Civil Engineering equipments will have an added advantage.
