We seek qualified candidates for the position of Deputy Director, ROADS in Nairobi, Kenya.
Position Responsibilities:

The Deputy Director, ROADS assists the Project Director in overseeing and promoting strategic planning and business development for ROADS II. S/he manages the Project’s system for documentation and dissemination of performance, results and capacity and oversees the development and submission of timely project reports to FHI and donors as required.

S/he contributes to the development of strategic plans for ROADS programming and helps identify opportunities for strategic growth and diversification. The Deputy Director assists in the development of Country Operational Plans (COP) for PEPFAR-funded programs and ensures appropriate monitoring of subprojects to achieve financial, administrative, and programmatic goals.
Minimum Requirements:
  • BS/BA and 9-11 years relevant experience with international development programs and includes 3-5 years of supervisory experience;
  • or MS/MA in public health or related field and 7-9 years relevant experience with international development programs and includes 3-5 years of supervisory experience;
  • or PhD/MD or equivalent degree and 5-7 years relevant experience with international development programs and includes 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Overseas field experience required.
