Talent Development Officer

Reporting to the Human Resource & Administration Manager this new role is responsible for talent development and the design and implementation of initiatives tailored to improve talent development and effectiveness.
Specific responsibilities include:
  • Participate toward the development of the company wide talent strategy and drive its implementation;
  • Participate in employee recruitment efforts;
  • Support all performance management routines and scorecards across the group;
  • Assess current talent against future capabilities and developing plans to close gaps;
  • Support interventions to develop leadership and high potential;
  • Support all Training and Development interventions and where necessary facilitate training sessions;
  • Work with leaders to ensure key roles have a strong pool of internal successors.
The successful candidate is likely to have:

  • A minimum of 4 years training and development experience in a forward-looking organization that is keen on best-in-class development interventions;
  • Experience in managing large scale, strategic talent initiatives;
  • Ability to build relationships and to present information to senior executives;
  • Ability to influence others, including senior leaders;
  • Demonstrable ability in executing talent and change management initiatives;
  • A degree in Human resource related field with specializations in Training, Organizational Development, Organizational Behaviour, Industrial / Organizational Psychology, or related disciplines
