Marketing Analyst

Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Marketing Analyst is responsible for analysing key market and industry indicators.
Specific responsibilities Include:
  • Collect and analyze customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits for reporting purpose;
  • Monitor industry statistics and follow trends;
  • Forecast and track marketing and sales trends;
  • Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications programs and strategies;
  • Research consumer opinions and marketing strategies;
  • Participate in strategic marketing projects;
  • Ensure deadlines of key marketing initiatives are met;
  • Prepare materials required by the Marketing Director for input at Senior Management Meetings.
The successful candidate is likely to have:

  • At least 2 years working experience in a similar role;
  • Demonstrable experience in consumer market analysis, forecasting and financial modelling;
  • Ability to quickly interpret and initiate actions that carry out management strategies;
  • Ability to refine data into important reports for use at  senior levels;
  • Ability to work either independently or in a team environment, depending on the task at hand;
  • Good attention to detail;
  • A Bachelors degree in Business Administration with specialisation in Marketing.
