CARE International in Kenya is looking for dynamic and highly motivated individuals of high moral character and professional integrity to fill the following positions:
1. Policy Officer – Sustaining and Scaling
School Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Plus Community Impact (SWASH+)
Ref: PO–22/2010
The Policy Officer will be the primary person responsible for coordinating implementation of the SWASH+ strategy for government collaboration and influencing. The PO will coordinate efforts of various partners, facilitate or carry out further needed analysis of the enabling policy environment for school WASH in Kenya, meet regularly with government actors and update collaboration and influencing work plans as needed.
This position plays a critical role in collaborating with government and non-government stakeholders to improve planned investments by the Government of Kenya in school WASH programmes.
2. Country Project Manager – Adaptation Learning Programme (ALP)


Ref: CPM-22/2010
Reporting to the Sector Manager, the Country Project Manager (ALP) will be responsible for providing team leadership and motivational support to the country project team, overall strategic direction, leadership of the learning and M&E activities and manage and monitor partnerships with civil society partners at the local and national levels.
The Country Project Manager will also be responsible for leading relationships with external stakeholders, ensure that  linkages and synergies with other CARE programmes and projects are exploited for increased impact and avoidance of duplication and contribute to formulation and implementation of national level advocacy strategy in collaboration with the Advocacy advisor.
